  • There, you need to delete the printer and reinstall it again through the ‘Add printer wizard’.

Use HP Print And Scan Doctor:
  • ‘Download HP Print and scan doctor’.
  • Then locate the downloaded ‘HP Print and Scan Doctor File’ and run ‘HPPSdr.exe’.
  • Once opened, click on ‘Start’ and choose your ‘Printer’. And, if your printer is not in the list, then check your printer connection and after that tap on ‘Retry’.
  • After that, when your HP Print and Scan Doctor: tool, prompted to turn on printer updates, immediately click on ‘Yes’ and then continue.
  • Also, in a prompted message when your screen displays to make your printer ‘a default printer’, simply click ‘Yes’ and continue for further steps.
  • By continuing with the steps, you’ll turn your HP printer back to the online state and to finally continue printing with it.
